Being headquartered in the Midwest, we’ve long understood the importance of agricultural processing facilities. The nature of planting, growing, processing and shipping agricultural products is vital for our country and we actively support those who work so hard at it. Our specialized interest in the “processing” of these agricultural products is what makes us stand out among our peers.
Case Study
In November 2005, Dilling Group started design and acted as engineer of record for a $200 million soybean crushing operation in Claypool, IN. We acted as the construction manager for the whole project and self-performed the mechanical and electrical trades. After its completion in 2007, we returned to assist in the construction of an oil refinery at the same location. We continue to perform ongoing mechanical and electrical maintenance services.
Case Study
In 2009, after a terrible sugar dust explosion at Imperial Sugar’s location in Port Wentworth, Dilling Group was brought in to help with a small portion of the piping repair. But after several weeks, we were put in charge of all of the distribution piping. The pipe was fabricated at our Indiana shop and shipped to Georgia for installation. We’re proud that we were able to get this facility back up and running safely.
